The Macrochip MCQ-4NSCCC-2K CWDM 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver is designed for use in 100-Gigabit Ethernet links up to 2km over Single-Mode Fiber. It integrates 4 data lanes in each direction with 4×25Gb/s data rate. The wavelengths of the 4 CWDM channels are 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm as defined in CWDM4 MSA. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA.
Macrochip has invested RMB 350 million to establish a 3,500-square-meter Class 1,000 cleanroom facility in Quanzhou, China. This vertically integrated production line features over 100 precision instruments, covering critical processes such as chip testing, die bonding, wire bonding, active optical alignment, burn-in testing, module assembly, and final module validation. By synergizing in-house silicon photonics chip R&D with advanced module manufacturing, the facility achieves closed-loop quality control and delivers an annual capacity of 200,000 high-speed optical modules, meeting mass production demands for cutting-edge solutions.
