The Macrochip MCQ-4NSCCC-2K CWDM 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver is designed for use in 100-Gigabit Ethernet links up to 2km over Single-Mode Fiber. It integrates 4 data lanes in each direction with 4×25Gb/s data rate. The wavelengths of the 4 CWDM channels are 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm as defined in CWDM4 MSA. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA.

A: No. CWDM4 and LR4 use different wavelengths and multiplexing schemes:
CWDM4: 1271–1331nm CWDM wavelengths.
LR4: 1295–1309nm LAN-WDM wavelengths.
Ensure both ends of the link use matching module types for compatibility.
